POLIVIS© 1030 EV is a compound in granules, with an EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) as the base. The active ingredient is a 100% food grade natural antimicrobial and fungistatic.

POLIVIS© 1030 EV is:

• Suitable for extrusion and injection moulding or multi layer applications with different grades of Polyethylene polymers like LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and Polypropylene both as a homopolymer and as a copolymer. It can also be used in styrenic polymers (PS, ABS, SAN, HIPS) as well as in technopolymers if the temperature is kept below 200 degrees.
• Suitable for a wide range of applications including personal hygiene and healthcare, the textile, food, mechanical and packaging industries as well as the production of household items, etc …
• Some customer applications of POLIVIS© 1030 include household serving bowls and toothbrush handles of which testing has shown that the mechanical characteristics were not altered with the addition of POLIVIS© 1030.
• With its constant release over time, POLIVIS© 1030 prevent microbial and fungal contamination not only on surfaces but also in the surrounding environment.
• 100% natural vegetal, food grade active ingredient.
• It does not contain silver salts.
• Antimicrobial activity tested according to ISO 22196: 2011.
• Effective against bacterial and fungal strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus faecalis, Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans.
• Complies with the requirements of the Regulation for food contact EC 1935/2004 of 13/11/2004.
• Complies with the requirements of the Regulation for food contact EU 10/2011 of 15/01/2011.
